This Pick-Up & Delivery Policy applies to all purchases made through our website, subscriptions, social media storefronts, farmers markets, and direct orders.
By placing an order with Bread & Bake LLC, you agree to the terms outlined below
1. Order Pickup – Commercial Kitchen
1.1 Pickup Schedule
Order pickup is available Wednesdays and Fridays, between:
8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
All pickups take place at our licensed commercial kitchen. The exact address and pickup instructions are provided at checkout or in your order confirmation.
1.2 Pickup Coordination (Required)
To ensure your breads are prepared and handed to you promptly, we strongly recommend that customers:

Send a text message to (314) 478-6173 at least twon(2) days in advance, indicating the pickup time.

Send a text message upon arrival at our location so we can hand the order directly to you.
This process helps avoid delays and ensures proper handling of fresh baked goods.
1.3 Final Pickup Time
The last order handoff is at 12:30 p.m. sharp.
Orders arriving after 12:30 p.m. will be considered missed pickups if other arrangements have not already been made.
1.4 Missed or Unclaimed Orders
Due to the perishable nature of our products, orders not picked up during the scheduled pickup window are considered abandoned.

Missed orders are not eligible for credit, replacement, or rescheduling

Bread & Bake LLC is not responsible for quality, freshness, or food safety once the pickup window has passed
This policy complies with Missouri consumer and food commerce standards applicable to custom and perishable food products.
1.5 Transfer of Responsibility
Responsibility for the order transfers to the customer at the time of pickup. Customers are responsible for proper transport and storage after receiving their products.
2. Pickup at U City Farmers Market
2.1 Availability
Customers may choose U City Farmers Market pickup when available.

During winter: bi-weekly

Starting in May: every weekend during full market season
Market availability and dates are displayed at checkout when applicable.
2.2 Market Pickup Responsibility
Orders must be picked up during the designated market hours. Unclaimed orders at the market are subject to the same non-refund and abandonment policy described above.
Once the product is handed to the customer at the market, responsibility transfers to the customer.
3. Local Delivery (Missouri Only)
3.1 Delivery Area
Bread & Bake LLC currently offers direct delivery within the state of Missouri only. Delivery availability and fees are displayed at checkout when applicable.
3.2 Delivery Responsibility
Once an order has been delivered or picked up, risk of loss and responsibility transfer to the customer.
Bread & Bake LLC is not liable for:

Delivery delays

Inability to access the delivery location

Products left unattended
-
Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
Customers are responsible for ensuring:

Accurate delivery address

Safe and accessible delivery location
-
Prompt retrieval of delivered items
4. Food Safety & Quality Disclaimer
All Bread & Bake LLC products:

Are baked fresh
-
Contain no preservatives
-
Are intended for short-term consumption
For best quality:

Store products in a cool, dry place

Consume within 2- 3 days of pickup or delivery, unless otherwise stated
Bread & Bake LLC is not responsible for:

Improper storage
-
Consumption beyond recommended timeframes

Handling after pickup or delivery
5. Allergens
Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

Wheat / gluten
-
Dairy
-
Nuts
-
Seeds
Bread & Bake LLC cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information prior to purchase.
6. No Refund Policy for Perishable Goods
In accordance with Missouri law and food commerce standards:

All baked goods are non-refundable

All sales are final once prepared
7. Force Majeure
Bread & Bake LLC is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill orders due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather
-
Power outages
-
Equipment failure
-
Government restrictions
-
Supply chain disruptions
8. Policy Updates
Bread & Bake LLC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Updates take effect upon posting.
